Basics

What is WritersDomain.net?

WritersDomain is a branch of an online marketing company. Our clients pay us (and we pay our writers) to write high-quality content on their behalf. Our in-house team consists of editors, writers, and a support staff. We have remote writers from all over America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and France! We produce thousands of pieces of content each month, and we're growing every day!

How do I contact WritersDomain.net?

Send us an email anytime at . The support staff is in the office Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm MDT.

How does it work?

You write content for different projects available on WritersDomain. We review your content based on project guidelines, and if it gets approved, you get paid. It's that simple!

Our project rates range from $0.02 to $0.05 per word.

How and when do I get paid?

We pay via PayPal on the 5th of the month OR whenever you earn at least $100—whichever comes first.

How many projects do I need to write each month?

There are currently no minimum or maximum submission requirements. The more you write, the more you make, so we encourage you to write as much as you can!

What do I need to do to get started?

To get started, you'll need to register, submit a writing sample, and take a grammar test. Once your sample is submitted, we'll go over your entire application and make our final decision. You should hear back from us in 2–3 business days.

What are the requirements for using WritersDomain.net?

You must have a native-level fluency in the language you would like to write in. Writers must have an Internet connection and accept and abide by the Terms and Conditions. We also expect our writers to have a sound knowledge of grammar and spelling principles. In addition, all applicants must be from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, or France.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click "Forgot Password" on the homepage, and a new password will be sent to your email. If a password is not sent within one hour, please contact us at .

When can I write?

You can log in and write anytime you want to, day or night. Some people set aside certain hours in the day or week to write, and others do it when they find extra time. Choose whichever approach is best for you.

Can I expect WritersDomain to offer enough work to provide my sole livable income?

The original vision of WritersDomain was to act as a means of supplemental income for people who wanted to earn extra money by writing from home in their spare time. While some writers have been able to make considerable and relatively constant income from WritersDomain, it is still considered contract work, with no guaranteed expectation of always having work available. It is not designed to be a lasting replacement for a full time job (even though at times it is possible to make income similar to a full time job using WritersDomain).

That being said, we absolutely appreciate the support and great following that WritersDomain has gained from hard workers.

Registration

Why is my address required?

We ask for your address information to verify that you are a resident of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or France so that the tax and legal requirements all work out. If you are a US citizen or resident, you will also be asked to upload a W-9 form in order to be paid for your work.

It says that my user is already in use. What does that mean?

The email address that you're using to register with WritersDomain is already in our system. It's possible that you were never approved. If you have questions regarding this, please contact .

Can I register if I am not from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or France?

We only hire writers from the countries in which we do business or have clients—that is, in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and France—so we are currently not able to hire writers from outside those six countries.

It is the responsibility of the writer/registrant to provide WritersDomain with correct information regarding their citizenship status. The writer/registrant assumes any and all responsibility for fraudulent information submitted to WritersDomain.

What is the minimum age requirement?

You must be at least 18 years old in order to register for WritersDomain.

Can multiple people sign up from the same household?

Absolutely! We welcome all great writers who meet the age and location requirements.

Writing Sample/Grammar Test

What are the requirements for a writing sample?

The writing sample needs to be at least 400 words long. Your sample will be reviewed by our editors and you will receive an email regarding your acceptance or rejection. Make sure you proofread and edit your sample submission because these are our initial impressions of your writing abilities.

We want to see what you'll come up with on the spot, so your submission needs to be completely original. Please do not submit a sample that borrows from another source, even if you are the author of that source. Plagiarized writing samples will be rejected.

Keep in mind that we will expect you to maintain high-quality writing standards for each project. Please don't submit a stellar writing sample and then deliver sub-par work after you've been accepted to write.

How long is the wait time if I am on the waitlist?

The waitlist time varies, as we bring on new writers based on our demand and writer turnover. We're constantly growing and adding new clients every day, so we'll bring you on as soon as there's room, in the order your writing sample was approved!

How long until my writing sample is reviewed?

We typically review your writing sample in 2–3 business days. We'll let you know if you've been approved as soon as we have reviewed your application.

What happens if my application is rejected?

If your application is rejected, don't take it personally. We're just looking for a style that better fits our client's needs.

If you feel that, with a bit of work, you can tailor your writing to our standards, then you are welcome to reapply in six months.

I failed the grammar test, what do I do now?

Each applicant is allowed one chance with the grammar test. Remember, the test is timed, so make sure you take it at a time when you will have no distractions. If you do not pass the grammar test and your application is rejected, you may reapply for WritersDomain in six months.
